Tim achieved all the objectives marvelously. He was assigned to the project (Singapore) for a very short stint (about 2 to 3 weeks as I recall) to provide a very surgical support to the team. During this period, he achieved the following:
- He trained a team of developers from South Asia. Although they were English-speaking, they have a very different accent, and the choice of words can be very different from other English speakers. Despite the differences, Tim was able to train them effectively.
- He restored the client’s confidence in HP and the team’s ability to deliver to requirements. He demonstrated the depth of skills in HP that we deploy to support the implementation. Tim was also able to explain the limitations of the product and provide the customer with workaround solutions that were acceptable.
