CLIENT PROFILE
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is America’s Combat Support Agency and provides all manner of
support to Department of Defense units and a host of other whole of government customers around the
world.
CLIENT REQUEST
DLA is required to provide specific electronic information in cases involving litigation, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Congressional Inquiries, and other similar situations.
Electronically Stored Information Disclosure and Discovery (ESIDD)
Designed and implemented the DLA system that adhered to all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) which identifies stages to govern, identify, preserve, collect, process, review, analyze, produce and present Electronically Stored Information (ESI). The EDRM is a conceptual framework of the Electronically Stored Information Disclosure and Discovery Program (ESIDD) process. This includes: (1) Information Governance; (2) Identification; (3) Preservation; (4) Collection; (5) Processing; (6) Review; (7) Analysis; (8) Production; and (9) Presentation.
Using the Electronic Files Processing for receipt of any electronically stored information (ESI) provided by third parties pursuant to industry standards. The system allowing the capability of importing at least ESIDD databases and associated attorney review data (e.g. tagging, foldering, comments, redactions) conducted on those ESIDD databases to review ESI.
A world-class and streamlined ESI process following the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) using a suite of user-friendly software platforms that ensures our Litigation, FOIA, Legislative Affairs, and Investigation teams can effectively and efficiently accomplish their missions.
