The challenge and belief in your goal is what attracts leaders
Both in my professional career and nonprofit work, my aim is to influence people in joining me in the pursuit of a goal. While at Cliff Dwellers Consulting, I worked shoulder to shoulder with some of the hardest working and most brilliant minds who are driven to protect and provide information to make our government and organizations work.
My approach is convey the vision, the future-state. A future where many of the obstacles that they face today are managed. People need to be listened to and understood. You work with people with expertise and legacy knowledge, why wouldn’t you use that to propel the project to its successful finish?
While building and managing the Early Case Assessment consulting practice for the EMC-Kazeon product, I lead a small and highly specialized team that focused both on technology and litigation support. My team and I were often brought in to respond to an emergency situation, such as the ransom attack back in 2018 on the City of Atlanta. After arriving our focus was building credibility with the City of Atlanta team. Fortunately, we worked closely with their team several months prior indexing their storage. Communication is a key factor when leading a team and partnering with a client.
